We are busy reflooring our entire main level. Right now we are tiling the entry/kitchen/dining room. We are SOOO happy to have the orange 30 year old carpet out of the dining room!!! Here Beautiful is getting in on the action by helping paint the doors.
We painted the walls and hung new light fixtures in two of the areas.
And here is the new dura ceramic tile floor (still to be grouted). A HUGE improvement! My husband has worked for over a week getting all of the preparations done and currently has been tiling for 13 hours and is still working on it. He is tired, but doing a GREAT job! I made him home made granola and a fruit pizza to help keep him motivated today. He is my hero. I love my husband...and my new floor! Next project...carpeting the living room and the two bedrooms on this level... Thankfully someone else will be doing the carpet laying - after we have to empty those rooms!
